Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE launch date revealed

During its recent Unpacked event, Samsung introduced the much-anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 models. However, the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE or Slim variant was notably absent. Fresh information now suggests that the release date for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE is becoming clearer, and the wait is almost over.

Launch Event Scheduled for October 21

Samsung announced today that a new Galaxy device will be unveiled on October 21. While the exact model name hasn’t been confirmed, the much-discussed Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE is highly likely to be the focus. As the name implies, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE will be a slimmer version of the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Major Design and Material Upgrades

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE will offer more than just a refined design; it will also feature significant upgrades. Samsung is reportedly considering using titanium for this model, particularly in the device’s back panel, enhancing durability. Additionally, there are expectations of minor improvements to the camera system.

Another key enhancement is expected in the hinge design, with reports suggesting that the fold crease will be less visible than in the standard Z Fold 6.

Dimensions and Display Details

According to earlier reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE will measure 10 mm when folded and just 5.6 mm when open. It will feature a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8-inch foldable main display. However, accessing this special edition may prove challenging, as it’s expected to be a limited release primarily available in South Korea and China. More detailed information will be revealed during the October 21 event.
