Samsung Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 Specs Leaked Ahead of Launch
Competition in the mid-range smartphone market continues to intensify, and tech giant Samsung is preparing to strengthen its lineup with two new models. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A37 and Samsung Galaxy A57 have now had most of their specifications revealed through a recent report.
The leaked information suggests that both devices will offer incremental improvements in performance, display technology, and connectivity features while maintaining the familiar design philosophy of Samsung’s popular A-series.
Galaxy A37: New Chipset and Improved Ultra-Wide Camera
According to the report, the Galaxy A37 will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, similar to its predecessor. This display aims to deliver smooth scrolling and vibrant colors for everyday use.
A key change comes in the processor department. Instead of the Snapdragon chip used in the previous model, the device is expected to run on Samsung’s Exynos 1480 chipset. The phone will likely be available with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, along with 128 GB and 256 GB storage options.
On the software side, the device is expected to ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.5 out of the box.
The camera setup will see a modest upgrade. The Galaxy A37 is expected to include:
- 50 MP main camera
- 12 MP ultra-wide camera
- 5 MP macro camera
The ultra-wide lens represents an improvement over the previous generation’s 8 MP sensor. On the front, the phone will retain a 12 MP selfie camera.
Battery capacity remains unchanged at 5,000 mAh, supported by 45 W wired fast charging. Connectivity features will include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
The device is expected to measure 162.9 × 78.2 × 7.4 mm and weigh 196 grams, with color options such as Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White.
Galaxy A57: More Powerful Processor and Updated Connectivity
The higher-tier Galaxy A57 will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, similar to the Galaxy A56. However, Samsung is expected to slightly reduce the display bezels in the new model.
In terms of performance, the device may be powered by the Exynos 1680 processor, replacing the Exynos 1580 used in its predecessor. Memory and storage configurations are expected to remain the same, offering 6 GB or 8 GB RAM with 128 GB or 256 GB storage options.
Camera hardware is also expected to remain largely unchanged:
- 50 MP main camera
- 12 MP ultra-wide camera
- 5 MP macro camera
Battery capacity will stay at 5,000 mAh, paired with 45 W wired fast charging.
One of the main improvements appears in connectivity. The Galaxy A57 is expected to support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 6.0, offering faster and more stable wireless performance.
The phone is rumored to measure 161.5 × 76.9 × 6.9 mm and weigh 192 grams, making it slightly slimmer than its predecessor. Expected color options include Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy.
Overall, Samsung appears to be focusing on refined upgrades rather than major design changes, strengthening performance and connectivity to maintain its position in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment.
