A New Mystery from the creators of the Stranger Things: The Boroughs

After the global success of Stranger Things, the Duffer Brothers continue expanding their creative universe under Netflix. While developing projects set within the Stranger Things universe, the duo is also working on entirely new stories. The first of these, The Boroughs, is set to premiere on May 21.

A Dark Secret Behind a Perfect Facade

Set in what appears to be a flawless retirement home, The Boroughs tells the story of a grieving elderly man who moves into the facility seeking peace. However, he soon encounters an unexpected danger that leads him to uncover a chilling secret hidden within the institution’s walls. Joined by other residents, he embarks on a suspenseful journey to uncover the truth.

Creative Team and Cast

The series is written by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, with the Duffer Brothers serving as executive producers.

The cast features a remarkable lineup of seasoned actors, including:
