Samsung Galaxy A57 and A37 Revealed Live: First Look at Their Design

Samsung is preparing to expand its popular mid-range Galaxy A lineup with two new smartphones: Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57. These models, which have been the subject of rumors for quite some time, were previously spotted on certification platforms, confirming many of their specifications. Now, for the first time, both devices have appeared in live images, revealing key design details.

Galaxy A57: Familiar Design with Subtle Refinements

The Galaxy A57 closely follows the design language of the Galaxy A56. On the front, Samsung sticks with its signature punch-hole display, while the back features a vertically aligned triple-camera setup positioned in the top-left corner. Minor tweaks to the camera module give the device a slightly more polished appearance.

The phone appears to feature a metal frame, and the power and volume buttons are placed on Samsung’s distinctive Key Island, a slightly raised section designed to improve usability and grip.

Galaxy A37: Cleaner and More Minimal

The Galaxy A37 adopts a similar overall design philosophy. A punch-hole display dominates the front, while the rear houses a vertically stacked triple-camera system. However, the implementation of the Key Island differs slightly. Only the upper part of the button area is raised, resulting in a simpler and more minimalist look compared to the A57.

Launch Timeline Still Unclear

Samsung has not yet made an official announcement regarding the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57. That said, based on the company’s usual release schedule, both models are expected to be unveiled within the first months of the year.

What Do the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 Offer?

Galaxy A57 Specifications

The Galaxy A57 features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution. An under-display fingerprint sensor is also confirmed. According to Geekbench listings, the device will be powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset.

Expected memory and storage options include:

  • 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage

  • 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy A57 sports a 12 MP front-facing camera. On the back, it offers a triple-camera system consisting of a 50 MP main sensor, 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and 5 MP macro camera. The phone is also expected to ship with Android 16 and a 5,000 mAh battery.

Galaxy A37 Expectations

The Galaxy A37 is expected to share a similar display with the A57. However, it stands out in the battery department, with reports pointing to a larger 6,000 mAh battery. While other specifications remain unconfirmed, the Galaxy A37 is likely to appeal to users who prioritize long battery life.
