Erbak Movie Reviews: This Beautiful Fantastic (2016)
At Erbak Movie Reviews, we have always believed that there are stories worth telling, thoughts worth sharing, and films worth watching. More importantly, we have chosen to believe in those stories. We have never completely lost faith in the idea that there are still good people in this world.
This week’s film, This Beautiful Fantastic, is one of those rare stories that quietly scatters little pieces of hope into your heart and reminds you that perhaps the world can still be a beautiful place.
Let the Story Begin
Bella Brown’s story has been waiting to be told. The only question is where to begin.
Perhaps the beginning is the best place.
Nothing about Bella Brown’s life has ever been ordinary. Even surviving infancy was a miracle. Abandoned as a baby, she grew up without a family and spent years searching for a place where she truly belonged.
Yet Bella had a dream: she wanted to write children’s books.
The problem was that she had no idea how to turn that dream into reality.
Plans, Plans, and More Plans
Bella was perfectly comfortable with solitude. It was unpredictability that she struggled with.
Everything in her world had to be orderly and carefully arranged. A misplaced object could throw her entire day into chaos. From mealtimes to bedtime, Bella lived according to strict routines and carefully constructed plans.
And so far, those plans had worked.
Until they didn’t.
Learning by Living
An argument with her grumpy neighbor became the first major crack in Bella’s carefully controlled existence.
Had she known what was coming, she might have hidden away somewhere quiet and followed every library rule to the letter. But sometimes life refuses to be organized.
Sometimes the only way to learn is to actually live.
If Bella wanted to teach her elderly neighbor a lesson, she was going to discover that she had quite a few lessons of her own to learn first.
A Little Chaos
As if her personal life wasn’t complicated enough, Bella also found herself surrounded by unexpected trouble at work.
Then there was Billy.
Billy was a young inventor who seemed completely incapable of respecting the peaceful silence of the library. His inventions were noisy, his surroundings were always a mess, and wherever he went, chaos seemed to follow.
He was, quite simply, a walking disaster.
So why couldn't Bella stop looking at him?
What was it about this strange young man that made him so fascinating?
Perhaps, for the first time, Bella was beginning to discover something that couldn't be planned.
Where Did the Peace Go?
Bella may have stolen her grumpy neighbor’s cook, but she was now the one who needed help.
Her landlord had given her a condition: unless she restored the neglected garden outside her home, she could lose her house.
There was just one problem.
Bella and plants had never exactly been friends.
She needed an expert.
And unfortunately, the expert happened to be her difficult neighbor, Alfie.
After the Storm
Nobody expected Bella to become a landscape gardener.
And certainly nobody expected her to become so determined.
But as she began transforming the neglected garden, something else started to change too. Every small improvement she made to the garden seemed to mirror a small transformation within herself.
Her relationship with Billy grew stronger. She began to open up. She began to take risks. Slowly, the carefully constructed walls around her life started to come down.
And then, just when everything seemed to be falling into place, a storm arrived and destroyed almost everything.
Bella lost her job.
Billy was no longer part of her life.
And the garden she had worked so hard to restore was gone.
She had finally reached what felt like rock bottom.
Now, You Have to Believe
And that was when Bella Brown realized something important.
Perhaps she wasn't really at the bottom.
Perhaps she simply needed to stop sinking and start swimming.
The light she had been searching for was much closer than she had imagined.
After all, the things that truly matter take time.
It had taken Bella a long time to discover herself. It had taken even longer to understand what she wanted, what she needed, and where she belonged.
It had been a difficult journey.
But it had been worth every step.
She had learned to believe.
She had found the courage to try.
And most importantly, she had finally opened her heart.
A Beautiful, Fantastic Life
This Beautiful Fantastic is a gentle reminder that life rarely follows the plans we make for it. Sometimes, the unexpected people we meet become the ones who change us the most. Sometimes, the places we try to escape from become the places where we finally find ourselves.
Bella, Billy, Alfie, and Vernon each have their own imperfections, fears, and peculiarities. Yet together, they create something wonderfully human: a little community built on kindness, friendship, patience, and second chances.
So this week, let Erbak Movie Reviews invite you to take a little inspiration from Bella Brown, the rule-breaking inventor Billy, the grumpy yet lovable Alfie, and Vernon, the warm-hearted cook who puts a little bit of himself into everything he creates.
Perhaps they will remind you that your life doesn't have to be perfect.
Sometimes, all it needs is a little color.
And perhaps, with enough courage, patience, and love, you can turn it into your own beautiful, fantastic garden.
Enjoy the film…
