Apple has officially announced that it will host its iPhone 17 launch event on Tuesday, September 9, at the Apple Park campus.
The highlight of the event will be the brand-new iPhone 17 Air, anticipated to be the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever created. The lineup will also include the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Apple has decided not to release a “Plus” version this year. The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to feature a 6.6-inch display, Apple’s proprietary C1 modem, and a single-lens rear camera.
The iPhone 17 Pro models will arrive with a redesigned aluminum frame, improved durability, and a new rear camera module. Across the board, all iPhone 17 models will be powered by the updated A19 and A19 Pro chips, with ProMotion display technology becoming standard for the entire series.
Apple is also preparing major updates for its wearable lineup. The company will unveil the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3—marking the first time in three years that the entire watch family is refreshed simultaneously. In addition, surprises such as AirPods Pro 3, a new HomePod mini, and an updated Apple TV 4K may also debut.
On the software front, Apple will introduce iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, and other updates. Altogether, the event will signal a new chapter for Apple’s ecosystem, blending cutting-edge hardware with powerful software.
