Red Dead Redemption’s PC version finally announced

One of Rockstar Games’ iconic series, Red Dead Redemption, was first released in 2010 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. The game quickly became a classic in the gaming world, and its sequel was introduced to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players in 2018. In 2019, Red Dead Redemption 2 made its way to PC players, but the first game never received a PC version—until now. After almost 15 years of eager anticipation from fans, the PC version of this beloved title was announced just recently.

Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare Come to PC

Recently, Rockstar Games refreshed Red Dead Redemption and released it for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch platforms. Now, the company is bringing this renewed version to PC players as well. The PC version’s trailer was unveiled on Rockstar’s official website and YouTube channel, with an announced release date of October 29.

Enhanced Graphics and Technology Support

The highly anticipated PC version of Red Dead Redemption will offer players impressive graphic and performance enhancements. With support for 4K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, the game promises a significant visual upgrade. It also includes features like ultra-wide screen mode, HDR10, NVIDIA DLSS 3.7, and AMD FSR 3.0. Additionally, the title supports DLSS with Frame Generation technology for a smoother gaming experience. Developed in partnership with Double Eleven, the renewed version will be available for purchase on the Rockstar Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
