Roland Garros Men's Final Set: Alexander Zverev and Flavio Cobolli to Battle for the Title

The men's singles final at Roland Garros has officially been determined, with Alexander Zverev and Flavio Cobolli earning the right to compete for one of tennis' most prestigious trophies.

Italian rising star Flavio Cobolli secured his place in the final under unusual circumstances. His scheduled semifinal opponent, fellow Italian Matteo Arnaldi, was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to illness before the match could take place. As a result, Cobolli advanced directly to the championship match, marking the biggest achievement of his career so far.

Waiting for him in the final is Germany's Alexander Zverev, who delivered an impressive performance against Czech player Jakub Mensik in the semifinal. Playing on the iconic Philippe Chatrier Court, Zverev claimed the opening set 7-5 before dominating the second set 6-2.

Mensik attempted a comeback by taking the third set 6-3, but Zverev quickly regained control in the fourth. The German star sealed the set by the same scoreline, securing a 3-1 victory and booking his place in the final.

The championship match now presents an intriguing clash between experience and emerging talent. Zverev continues his pursuit of a long-awaited Grand Slam title, while Cobolli will be looking to complete a remarkable run and capture the biggest trophy of his young career.

The final will take place on Sunday, June 7, at Philippe Chatrier Court. Tennis fans can expect a thrilling contest as both players chase Roland Garros glory and a place in Grand Slam history.
