Robot Chef That Can Cook Without Human Assistance Introduced
As smart home technology continues to evolve, the kitchen is becoming one of the most exciting areas of innovation. A new device designed to simplify cooking has recently attracted attention in the tech world.
Developed by Nosh Robotics, the Nosh One robot chef aims to fully automate the cooking process.
With a price tag of around $1,500, the device is designed to significantly reduce the time users spend preparing meals. Once the ingredients are placed inside, the robot can cook dishes without requiring further human intervention.
Simple and Automated Operation
The device is designed to be easy to use. Users simply place the ingredients for a chosen recipe onto the tray and select the desired dish through the companion app.
From that point onward, the robot takes over the entire process.
The system:
- Adds ingredients at the correct time
- Stirs the food during cooking
- Manages temperature and cooking duration
All steps are handled automatically.
AI and Camera Monitor the Cooking Process
Inside the device, a built-in camera and artificial intelligence system continuously monitor the cooking process. This ensures that ingredients are prepared and cooked correctly.
When the meal is ready, the system sends a notification to the user through a mobile application.
Full Control via Mobile App
The companion app developed by Nosh Robotics allows users to:
- Browse available recipes
- Modify or customize recipes
- Schedule cooking times
This makes the entire cooking process programmable and remotely manageable.
Designed for Safety and Hygiene
The Nosh One features a fully enclosed cooking chamber. When the device’s door is closed, the pot and stirring mechanism operate inside an isolated compartment.
This design helps maintain both safety and hygiene during the cooking process.
Can Prepare More Than 500 Recipes
One of the most impressive features of the robot chef is its large recipe library. The device is capable of preparing more than 500 different meals.
Users can also describe a dish using natural language. The AI system analyzes the request and automatically generates a recipe, which the robot then follows to cook the meal.
Available for Pre-Order
The Nosh One is currently available for pre-order on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
The campaign lists a starting price of $1,499, with shipments expected to begin during the summer.
Additional upgrade options are also offered, including accessory bundles and a Culinary+ lifetime subscription that provides full access to recipes and allows users to create or modify up to 50 recipes per year.
