The Lincoln Lawyer Returns Strong with Season 4 on Netflix
The popular legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer has made an impressive return with its fourth season.
Within just four days of release, the series reached 9 million views, securing second place on Netflix’s most-watched English-language shows list for the week of February 2–8.
A Story Rooted in Bestselling Novels
Based on novels by Michael Connelly, the new season picks up directly after the events of the third-season finale. Adapted from the sixth book in the series, The Law of Innocence, the story takes a dramatic turn as defense attorney Mickey Haller becomes a murder suspect.
Portrayed by Manuel García-Rulfo, Mickey must fight to prove his innocence after being accused of killing a former client. The high-stakes narrative intensifies the drama and places the protagonist in his most personal legal battle yet.
Future of the Series Secured
Fans had previously voiced concerns about the show’s future, even joking about “rebelling” if it were canceled. Those worries have now eased, as Netflix officially renewed the series for a fifth season last month.
The upcoming season will be based on Connelly’s novel Resurrection Walk and is expected to consist of 10 episodes, continuing the show’s successful run.
