Phone 17 Pro redesign revealed: New images show bold changes

Apple is set to shake up smartphone design with the upcoming iPhone 17 series. New leaked images of a full-scale mockup of the iPhone 17 Pro suggest that the tech giant is taking a bold step forward in terms of design. In addition to the regular and Pro models, a new “iPhone 17 Air” is expected to replace the Plus variant in this generation.

The standout feature of the iPhone 17 Pro’s redesign is its large camera island, which spans almost the entire width of the back – a look reminiscent of older Redmi devices. While the lens layout remains unchanged from the iPhone 16 Pro, the sheer size of the camera module makes it more dominant and visually striking.

Another key change is the repositioned Apple logo, now centered between the camera island and the bottom of the phone – a move that has sparked debate among fans and users alike. Rumors also suggest a return to aluminum frames, moving away from the stainless steel and titanium used in recent generations.

Beyond the aesthetics, the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to pack significant hardware upgrades. The new Pro models will feature a hybrid glass and aluminum body, offering both wireless charging and improved durability. Powered by a next-gen AI-centric chip and 12GB of RAM, and supported by an upgraded cooling system, the iPhone 17 aims to deliver sustained high performance.

With the underwhelming reception of the iPhone 16 series, expectations are high for Apple’s next flagship – and the iPhone 17 lineup looks poised to deliver.
