Citroën has officially unveiled the all-new 2025 C5 Aircross, a revamped SUV that blends sharp aesthetics, advanced in-cabin technology, and a fully electric powertrain for the first time. The latest iteration marks a significant step forward in the brand’s commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility.
Design-wise, the new C5 Aircross adopts Citroën’s latest styling language, previously seen on models like the new C3 and C4. With a body length of 4652 mm and a wheelbase of 2784 mm, the SUV is now 15 cm longer and offers a roomier interior. The boot capacity is 651 liters, accompanied by an additional 115 liters of storage space spread across underfloor and cabin compartments.
Inside, the standout feature is the “C-Zen Lounge,” centered around a vertically positioned, customizable touchscreen – the largest high-resolution screen ever used in a Stellantis vehicle. Additional highlights include a 10-inch digital driver display, a head-up display, wireless charging, and a practical layout focused on everyday convenience. Soft foam fabrics and Citroën’s signature “Advanced Comfort” seats provide a cocoon-like ambiance, with heated, ventilated, and massage-enabled front seats.
Built on the STLA Medium platform, the new C5 Aircross debuts with two fully electric versions: a 210 PS motor with 520 km of range and a 169 kW motor with 680 km of range, both supporting 160 kW DC fast charging. Hybrid options include the entry-level Hybrid 145 with a 1.2L turbocharged engine, and the Plug-in Hybrid 195 that delivers 85 km of electric-only range.
Citroën’s signature “Progressive Hydraulic Cushions” promise a smooth ride, while Level 2 autonomous driving is supported via the Drive Assist 2.0 package. The SUV will be built in Rennes, France, and is expected to hit European markets in the second half of 2025. Pricing is yet to be announced.
