Tragic accident in Russia: Airbus A320 crushes ground staff worker

In a tragic incident at Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg, Russia, a 21-year-old airport worker was crushed by the front landing gear of an Airbus A320.

Captain Under Investigation

Following the incident, the captain pilot, whose identity has not been disclosed, was removed from duty. The flight to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, was completed with a new crew after a three-and-a-half-hour delay. The captain is now under investigation for gross negligence.

Condition of the Injured Worker Remains Critical

The injured airport worker is in intensive care, with his condition reported as critical. The young worker, fighting for his life, had one leg amputated and the other leg fractured.
