First cast members announced for Knives Out 3 with Daniel Craig

Netflix’s highly popular film series Knives Out is set to return with its third installment. Knives Out 3, which has been in preparation for a while, has recently started to take shape rapidly.

Rian Johnson, the creator and director of the Knives Out series, recently announced that the third film will be titled “Wake Up Dead Man” and will be released in 2025. Although Johnson did not share details about the cast during this interview, the cast started to form just a few days after his announcement.

The cast of Knives Out 3 is quickly coming together. The third film will once again focus on the character of detective Benoit Blanc, portrayed by Daniel Craig. Blanc, who is drawn into a different mystery in each film, will be solving a new case in Knives Out 3. Thus, a brand-new cast is being assembled around Daniel Craig.

The eagerly anticipated film’s first announced cast members to join Craig are Andrew Scott (Fleabag, All of Us Strangers), Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla, Civil War), and Josh O’Connor (Challengers, The Crown). All three actors have recently risen to fame and are currently among the most sought-after names in Hollywood.

The Knives Out series is known for bringing together large and star-studded ensembles in its first two films. It is expected that this tradition will continue in the third film as well. Therefore, it would not be surprising to see a few more familiar faces added to this trio in the coming days.
