GTA 6 Pre-Orders Are Live: Rockstar Confirms Release Date
Rockstar Games has officially opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI, one of the most anticipated video games of all time. Alongside the launch of pre-orders, the company has confirmed that GTA 6 will be released on November 19, 2026.
The game will be available in two versions: Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition. While both editions offer access to the highly anticipated open-world adventure set in a modern-day Vice City, the Ultimate Edition includes a wide range of exclusive content and gameplay enhancements.
Players who pre-order the game or purchase it before November 20 will receive the special "Vintage Vice City Pack." This bonus package pays tribute to the iconic GTA: Vice City and includes exclusive vehicles, character customization options, themed outfits, hairstyles, and weapon skins inspired by legendary protagonist Tommy Vercetti.
Digital pre-orders will also include one month of GTA Plus membership at no additional cost.
Rockstar confirmed that GTA 6 will initially launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. However, the company also revealed that the multiplayer online component will not be available at launch. Industry expectations suggest that online features will arrive later, potentially alongside the PC version.
The Ultimate Edition offers much more than cosmetic items. Players will gain access to exclusive missions, unique vehicles, special weapons, side activities, custom shops, tattoo studios, salons, and additional gameplay content unavailable in the standard version.
By combining nostalgia with modern open-world gameplay, Rockstar aims to deliver one of the most ambitious titles in gaming history. With pre-orders now live, excitement surrounding GTA 6 has reached a new level as fans eagerly await further gameplay reveals and official details in the months ahead.
