Fiat Unveils the New Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback SUVs
Fiat has officially revealed the first details and images of its highly anticipated new SUV models, the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback. Initially showcased during Stellantis’ recent investor presentation, the vehicles are now taking center stage as key additions to Fiat’s growing lineup.
With the launch of the Grizzly family, Fiat aims to strengthen its position in the competitive C-segment market while offering customers more spacious, versatile, and lifestyle-oriented vehicles.
Designed for Families and Everyday Practicality
The standard Grizzly model has been developed with practicality and comfort in mind. Larger than the Grande Panda, it is specifically targeted at families and drivers who frequently travel long distances.
Its spacious interior, increased cargo capacity, and functional design philosophy are intended to deliver a more comfortable and convenient driving experience for everyday use.
A Sportier Alternative: Grizzly Fastback
Alongside the standard version, Fiat also introduced the Grizzly Fastback. Featuring a sloping roofline and a more coupe-inspired silhouette, the Fastback variant brings a sportier and more premium appearance to the lineup.
Although it adopts a distinct visual identity, the Fastback shares its platform and core technologies with the standard Grizzly, ensuring similar levels of performance and practicality.
Available with Electric and Traditional Powertrains
Fiat confirmed that both models will be offered with fully electric as well as conventional combustion-engine powertrains. This dual approach allows the company to appeal to customers transitioning to electrification while continuing to serve buyers who prefer traditional engines.
Global Launch Planned for 2027
The Grizzly family will be sold across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Additional technical specifications and equipment details are expected to be revealed later this year, while market launch is scheduled for 2027.
According to Fiat CEO Olivier François, the Grande Panda marked the beginning of Fiat’s return to accessible family mobility, and the Grizzly lineup will expand that vision with two vehicles tailored to different lifestyles and customer needs.
