Toprak Razgatlıoğlu joins MotoGP with Pramac Yamaha in 2026

After an exceptional career in the World Superbike Championship where he proudly represented Turkey on the global stage, Toprak Razgatlıoğlu is set to make a historic move. In 2026, he will compete in MotoGP—the most prestigious motorcycle racing series—as a member of the Prima Pramac Yamaha team, becoming the first Turkish rider to race in this elite championship.


Pramac Racing, having ended its long-standing partnership with Ducati, will switch to Yamaha engines starting in the 2025 season. This strategic transition has brought Toprak and Yamaha back together, rekindling a successful partnership. Razgatlıoğlu, who achieved numerous victories with Yamaha in WorldSBK, will now take on the MotoGP challenge with factory-supported Yamaha machinery.

Yamaha Motor Racing Director Paolo Pavesio expressed his excitement, saying: “We are thrilled to welcome Toprak back to the Yamaha family.
