In the beta version released for iPhones by WhatsApp, an unusual feature that prohibits taking screenshots of other people’s profile pictures has been discovered.
According to sources, this innovation was previously tested for the Android application. Now, this feature has been activated for iOS in WhatsApp’s beta version numbered 24.10.10.70. When a user attempts to take a screenshot of someone else’s profile picture, they will receive a warning in WhatsApp stating that this action is not possible.
According to WhatsApp developers, this feature will provide an additional level of protection and prevent users from saving other people’s profile pictures without their knowledge. The timing for when this new feature will be available for WhatsApp’s stable versions on both Android and iOS platforms is yet to be announced.
