iPhone 17 faces connectivity issues: Users report Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems

Apple’s recently launched iPhone 17 series, introduced with a revamped camera system, a more powerful processor, and iOS 26, has already started drawing complaints from early adopters. While the devices were initially criticized for scratching issues, users are now raising concerns about connectivity problems.

According to reports from 9to5mac and posts on Reddit, iPhone 17 devices experience Wi-Fi and Bluetooth disconnections whenever the screen is locked. Once the screen is unlocked, the connections return automatically. This glitch is particularly problematic for CarPlay, leading to performance drops and interruptions in vehicle audio systems.

The complaints don’t stop there. Many users have also reported frequent disconnections with AirPods and other Bluetooth accessories. It remains unclear whether the issue is caused by hardware or software, and Apple has yet to make an official statement regarding the matter.

Although the iPhone 17 series has achieved strong sales numbers, it has also become a topic of debate due to these technical setbacks. Users are now hoping for a quick fix through a forthcoming update.
