Trabzonspor Sign Mohamed Salah on a Two-Year Deal
Trabzonspor have officially completed one of the biggest transfers in the club's history by signing Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah.
The Turkish club announced that the 34-year-old forward has agreed to a two-year contract and also disclosed the financial details of the agreement.
Salary and Contract Details Revealed
According to Trabzonspor's official statement, Salah will receive a €10 million annual salary along with a €7 million signing bonus for each season of the contract, bringing his guaranteed yearly earnings to €17 million.
The agreement also includes performance-related bonuses based on the player's achievements throughout the season.
In addition, Trabzonspor confirmed that Salah will receive 20% of the revenue generated from merchandise sold specifically under his name through the club's official stores. A management fee equal to 5% of the player's gross salary will also be paid to his representatives.
From Egypt to the Top of European Football
Mohamed Salah began his professional career in 2010 with Egyptian club Al Mokawloon before making the move to Europe.
After impressing at Basel, he joined Chelsea and later enjoyed successful spells with Fiorentina and Roma. However, it was his transfer to Liverpool in 2017 that transformed him into one of the world's elite footballers.
During nine memorable seasons at Anfield, Salah scored 257 goals in 442 appearances, becoming one of Liverpool's greatest players.

Salah helped Liverpool win two Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, FA Cup, and Community Shield.
His individual achievements were equally impressive, winning the Premier League Golden Boot in the 2017-18, 2018-19, 2021-22, and 2024-25 seasons.
He was also named African Player of the Year in both 2017 and 2018.
